String Hoppers with Kiri Hodi and Pork Curry

String hoppers are made of rice flour and are like clusters of fine strands bunched up together and individually steamed. it is eaten drenched in a yellow coconut milk sauce (and in our family with a hard boiled egg or potato instead). The pork curry will speak for itself. There is not much chili, but it is very strongly spiced and is a kind of specialty! To balance off this richness, the meal comes with spicy, fresh and tangy coconut sambol.
